Sinje Lee brought love and laughters to Hans Anderson Club

One of the HOPE Education foundation ambassadors, Ms. Lee Sinje visited the Hans Anderson Club, Wong Tai Sin center located at Chuk Yuen Road. She attended one of the story telling activities with her own creation story books <The Rosy Bag of Little Yellow Flower>. She shared the happy story time with children and parents with games, as well as a special story telling time. Lee Sinje told her story about a tough girl named “Little Yellow Flower” in her book, with attractive words and body gestures.

Around 50 children and adults participated in this event, children even dressed up in different animal costumes to welcome their special guest. Welcoming and opening remarks were specially prepared by the children; they acted as a “Little Yellow Flower” growing from a seed, and to interact with other children among the audience. Then it was followed by Sinje’s story telling session, everyone enjoyed the featuring song <Dragonfly> that she sang. Each child got a book <The Rosy Bag of Little Yellow Flower> which was sponsored by HOPE Education Foundation. Everyone with the book got a chance to have a close connection with Sinje, via a book signing and photo session, as well as to have an insight about reading the story at home.

Lee Sinje was equally rejoiced about this interaction. Quoting her; “I like children very much, I feel happy when seeing them playing happily and listened to my story. During the time when I played and signed on the book, I can get to know them more. I wished they can be liked a “little yellow flower”, strive through all the difficulties in life. In fact I always wanted to initiate a talent training class, to also let children from the poor participate in this extracurricular activity. Today, this activity has given me a wonderful experience, I wished my dream will come true one day.”

According to Hope Education Foundation, all four Hope Ambassadors, Lee Sinje, Valen Hsu, Gigi Leung and Charlie Young wished to convey the message of little yellow flower through the stories they wrote. “Hopefully everyone works hand in hand, bringing hope to those children in need. Little yellow flower shall be the icon for the children; telling them to be strong when she faced with challenges. Hopefully this message is conveyed through this story telling activities. ”
